Pistachio Acorn 180 Curved Stairlift Installation in Hull

We recently completed a curved stairlift installation in Hull featuring an Acorn 180 in a colour we’ve never installed on this model before — Pistachio.

The customer was the first Think Stairlifts customer to choose this colour for an Acorn 180, and we think the finished result looks absolutely fabulous.

The soft green upholstery works particularly well with the light, neutral interior of the home, creating a stairlift that feels like part of the property rather than simply a piece of mobility equipment.

A First for Think Stairlifts: Pistachio Acorn 180

Our First Pistachio Acorn 180

We offer a wide choice of stairlift colours because we know that customers want their stairlift to suit their home as well as their individual preferences.

For this Hull installation, the customer chose Pistachio for their Acorn 180 curved stairlift.

This was the first Pistachio Acorn 180 we’ve supplied and installed, and seeing the finished installation has certainly made us appreciate this colour even more

A Stairlift That Complements the Home

The Pistachio seat and armrests provide a subtle splash of colour against the neutral carpet, white staircase and light surroundings.

It’s a great example of how choosing a different stairlift colour can make the finished installation feel much more personal.

We think this one looks fantastic.

Why Choose a Curved Stairlift?

When a Straight Stairlift Isn’t Suitable

Straight stairlifts are designed for staircases that run in one continuous direction.

However, homes with bends, corners, landings or changes in direction may require a curved stairlift.

A curved system can be designed to follow the existing staircase, providing a practical way of travelling between floors without requiring major changes to the home.

Designed Around Your Home

One of the benefits of a curved stairlift is that the rail can be manufactured and configured around the individual staircase.

Our engineers have experience installing curved stairlifts in a variety of homes across Yorkshire.

The Finished Pistachio Stairlift

A Colour That Really Stands Out

Once installed, the Pistachio Acorn 180 looked fantastic in this Hull home.

The green upholstery works particularly well alongside the neutral décor, while the white curved rail blends neatly with the staircase.

It’s a lovely example of how a stairlift can be practical while still fitting into the character of a home

Our First Customer to Choose Pistachio

This installation will be particularly memorable for us because this was the first customer to choose Pistachio on an Acorn 180.

We’re always interested to see which colours customers choose, and this installation has definitely made us excited to see Pistachio used again.

Our Hull Customer Left Us a Google Review

Real Customer Feedback

We’re also delighted that the customer took the time to leave Think Stairlifts a Google review following their installation.

We value genuine customer feedback because reviews give future customers an insight into the experience of dealing with us, from the initial enquiry and survey through to installation.

"We are in the process of getting a stairlift fitted for my terminally ill father. I would just like to say that, after a really long process of trying to find the right company, Think Stairlifts are the most professional, compassionate and hard working company we have found and for such a great price. Luke in particular has gone above and beyond for us, even coming out over the weekend to help make sure that every rail and every part of the mechanism works to perfection. They are so kind, courteous and personable. Even after going through with a fine tooth comb, Luke is still coming to make absolutely certain that the lift will 100% ensure my father’s safety and comfort. I would 100% recommend Think Stairlifts and Luke in particular!"

This is exactly the type of real customer experience we’re proud to showcase alongside our installation work.
