Think Stairlift Installation
We offer stairlifts for both straight and curved staircases to buy or rent reconditioned.
When you purchase a stairlift from Think Stairlifts, our prices fully include all of the following: stairlift survey, reconditioning of the stairlift, installation with full demonstration, 12 months warranty with 24 hour response service
We currently supply and install models from the leading manufactures such as: Acorn and Brooks.
All our stairlifts are in “Like new” or "good" condition - after the reconditioning process all our stairlifts show minimal if any use.
We only purchase quality machines to recondition and install to our customers.
Think Stairlift Rental
We offer stairlift rental for both straight and curved staircases, we are the only stairlift company in Filey which offers stairlift rentals.
Think Stairlift Warranty
Reconditioned Purchases
All of our stairlifts installed by us come with a 12 months as standard warranty (unless otherwise stated or on special offer which will be on your quotation and invoice) The warranty starts from the moment you sign your invoice on the day of installation. The warranty covers call-outs, labour and parts. - Batteries or misuse of the stairlift is not covered by our 12 months warranty.
Rental Purchases
Warranty whilst renting a stairlift from Think Stairlifts, does not expire. The warranty ends for a rental stairlift when the lift has been removed and the hire agreement is terminated. This warranty covers call-outs, labor and parts - This is not covered for batteries or misuse of the stairlift.
Think Extended Warranty
Existing Think Customers:
On purchased stairlifts, the warranty can be extended once the initial 12 months standard warranty (18 if purchased a lift during one of our special offers) is nearing its end. We strictly only offer 12 months additional warranty which includes your annual stairlift service, 24 hour response service, parts and labour.
The warranty does not cover you for batteries or misuse of the stairlift.
This is an optional service - should you not choose to extend your warranty we highly recommend you take out a service for your stairlift which is £85 (excludes parts and batteries) however, if your lift broke down or if any parts broken you would not be covered and be charged at a £85 call out fee plus hourly labour rate of £45 plus parts if required.
This warranty can be renewed each year at a fixed price of £200
Non Think Stairlifts Customers:
We currently offer our “Think warranty” to non Think Stairlifts customers, a £50 inspection fee must be paid prior as we must inspect the stairlift if there’s any pre existing problems or if any repairs needs to be done - We want to make sure that the stairlift is up to our strong working standards for us to honour a warranty.
After the £50 has been paid and we are happy the lift meets our standards a charge of £200 for the year must be paid and you will be a Think Stairlift customer, your warranty will include an annual service.
After the year is over you won’t pay a £50 inspection fee, you will be charged £200 the same as pre existing think customers should you wish to renew the warranty with us.
Think Buy Backs & Removals
Existing Think Customers:
If you’re an existing Think Stairlifts customer and your stairlift is no longer required we offer a 10% buy back scheme on all lifts installed by us. - this is explained during the survey and printed on your quotation form.
Non Think Stairlift Customers
We currently purchase the following stairlift makes and models from other mobility firms: Acorn 180 Curved Stairlift, Acorn 130 Stairlift, Brooks 130 Stairlift, Acorn 120 stairlift and Brooks 120 stairlift.
Prices are dependent on the software version, condition and location of the lift.
We are happy to remove other makes and model stairlifts however there would be a £85 charge for us to remove and dispose of the stairlift safely.
Think Repairs
We provide a reliable 24 hour response service for Think stairlift customers our highly Skilled engineers are equipped by our impressive spare parts hub.
We offer repairs for non think stairlift customers however we do aim to be with you within 24 hours but not always guaranteed, especially during busy periods - Maximum waiting time is a couple of days.
Think Servicing
Our Stairlift servicing are carried out by our highly trained and experienced engineers. Stairlift services are included in your warranty as contracted. But we do offer the “one off” annual service should you not extend your warranty with us.
If you are NOT a Think Stairlift customer and would just like the one off service with no warranty contract we charge £85
providing no parts are needed.
Battery Replacement Service
straight lifts £60 + £85 call out fee (call out fee is wavered if service is booked)
Curved lifts £190 + £85 call out fee (call out fee wavered if service is booked)
IF YOU HAVE THINK WARRANTY YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED FOR A CALL OUT FEE OR SERVICE CHARGE FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENT YOU JUST PAY FOR THE BATTERIES
